Location: the hotel was not far from restaurants, and Burke's pub. We asked for double room and it was clean and outstanding with tv and dvd player.

We didn't have time, so we also would want to stay there again. Everything was great, helpful staff, amazing location not far from a quiet area of Cornamona, Burke's pub for dinner and the shores. The room itself was extremely spacious with TV🙂
Hard to think of anything!

The breakfast was delicious and really filling. The bed was quite comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel was great, with beautiful surroundings to explore.
There weren't many options for evening meals nearby, so we had to rely on driving or taking a taxi to find a place to eat. the bathroom facilities were a bit cramped, which was a slight inconvenience.

I recently stayed at Mellottes B&B for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. The setting in the mountains was absolutely lovely, providing a peaceful and picturesque backdrop. The friendly staff made me feel genuinely welcome, and Dermot, the host, went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The power showers were invigorating, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. Additionally, I have to mention Bruce, the beautiful golden retriever who added an extra touch of friendliness to the atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my return visit next year!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a delightful stay at a cozy B&B with beautiful surroundings. The room was spacious with the best water pressure I've experienced. The owner, Dermot, was lively and shared fascinating stories. I enjoyed meeting interesting people and dining at Burke's pub, per Dermot's recommendation. Though basic, the room lacked a TV, but the Wi-Fi made up for it. The hospitality and breakfast were superb. I highly recommend this B&B.

The location of the B&B is ideal for those who want to be in direct touch with nature. Surrounded by mountains and situated close to a charming village, guests can enjoy the beautiful setting. The breakfast offered is excellent, and guests can also access the kitchen facilities. The bed in room 2 is very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
There is no TV in the room or in the guest lounge, which could be a downside for some guests who like to have entertainment options.

Arrived late, got a warm welcome from Dermot who was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was left out for my early departure. Comfy bed and excellent breakfast. Access to kitchen facilities was a bonus. No TV in the room but there was one in the guest lounge. Wi-fi available. Great Irish hospitality from Dermot, Mary, and Lilly the dog.
No TV in the room and the one in the lounge wasn't working. Basic bedroom, but for an overnight stay, it was fine.

Plus, Dermot's golden retriever, Bruce, added an extra touch of charm to my stay. I'm already planning my return visit next year because this B&B was just jaw-droppingly excellent!
